Chickpea curry cooked in the Perfect cooker

I recently purchased the perfect cooker from Tristar products. It is very good for cooking rice. When I tried to cook a (boiled) chickpea curry in it, it cooked them very soft, but it dried out the water. Then I added some more water and turned it to ‘keep warm’ setting.

At that setting it works like a slow cooker. It is also excellent for cooking small portions, lentils and frozen veg (I used the vegetable mix from Sainsbury’s).

We had the chickpea curry with spicy rice.

The perfect cooker is also available from Amazon
