Dinner tonight – Pooris (deep fried breads) with curry and Tamarind onions.
Pooris are unleavened breads which are deep fried and typically eaten with a curry. But they are equally delicious on their own with just some pickle. I made plain pooris, but they can also be made with spinach etc. We ate ours with a potato curry accompanied with my mother-in-law’s preferred way of eating onions with pooris – in a tamarind sauce.
